To uninstall Box Drive or Box Sync:

 

For Windows:

 

  1. Click the Start button in the bottom, left corner of the screen: Windows Start button
  2. Click the settings button (gear icon just above the power button) to open up the settings menu.
  3. Click the Apps button:

  4. Scroll down through the list until you find Box or search for Box by using the search bar.
  5. Click on Box (Sync or Drive) and then click uninstall.

  6. If prompted with, "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" click Yes.
  7. Click Uninstall Box Drive (or Box Sync) button.
  8. Computer will then go through process of uninstalling Box Drive or Sync. Your system may require you to restart once this process is complete.

 

For Mac:

 

  1. Open the finder and click on the Eject button beside your Box folder to close Box Drive.

  2. Open the finder and locate the Box application (likely located in the Applications folder).

  3. Right-click on the Box application and click move to trash.

  4. Click the Trash icon (typically located in your dock)

  5. Click the empty button to permanently delete any files in your trash folder (including Box).
