Student Academics: Request to Withdraw from the University

How to Request to Withdraw from UC:

  1. Log in to myUC Workday through UC Login.

  2. Open the Academics application from the menu in the top left corner of the myUC homepage.

  3. On the right side of the Academics homepage, locate the "Academic Records" section and click "more."

  4. Click on Request to Withdraw from the University.
  5. Completely fill out the Student Request for Institutional Withdrawal form.

  6. Once you have completely filled out the form, click "Submit" at the bottom of the screen.

 

Helpful Hints:

*If you are an F-1 student, withdrawing will result in SEVIS termination. If you need to maintain your F-1 status, or are unsure of your current SEVIS status, please consult your DSO BEFORE submitting your withdrawal request.

**If you no longer need F-1 status, please email a copy of your I-797, EAD, Green Card, etc., to your DSO so your SEVIS record can be terminated accordingly.
