Student Academics: Request to Withdraw from the University

How to Request to Withdraw from UC:
- Log in to myUC Workday through UC Login.
- Open the Academics application from the menu in the top left corner of the myUC homepage.
- On the right side of the Academics homepage, locate the "Academic Records" section and click "more."
- Click on Request to Withdraw from the University.
- Completely fill out the Student Request for Institutional Withdrawal form.
- Once you have completely filled out the form, click "Submit" at the bottom of the screen.
Helpful Hints:
*If you are an F-1 student, withdrawing will result in SEVIS termination. If you need to maintain your F-1 status, or are unsure of your current SEVIS status, please consult your DSO BEFORE submitting your withdrawal request.
**If you no longer need F-1 status, please email a copy of your I-797, EAD, Green Card, etc., to your DSO so your SEVIS record can be terminated accordingly.
