Enabling Call Forwarding from Desktop App

By default, calls that are not answered will go to voicemail. To forward calls to a destination other than voicemail, enable call forwarding or change your voice portal busy and no answer settings.

 

To enable this feature from the desktop app:

  1. Open the Vonage desktop app.
  2. Click your initials in the top left corner of the desktop app screen.

  3. Click Settings.

  4. Click Call Forwarding.

  5. Click Forward All Calls.

  6. Click Select a Number.

  7. Choose the Type of phone you're forwarding to (Personal, Home, Mobile, Business), then enter the phone number you want to forward your calls to, and click Add. That will add that number to the Your Numbers section. 

    Please note that you'll only do this step once unless you want to forward to a different number in the future.

  8. Click Your Numbers and choose the number to forward to.

  9. Click Save at the bottom of your screen to save the Call Forward settings.

To disable this feature from the desktop app:

  1. Open the Vonage desktop app.
  2. Click your initials in the top left corner of the desktop app screen.

  3. Click Settings.

  4. Click Call Forwarding.

  5. Change Call Forwarding Setting back to Send to Voicemail.

  6. Click Save at the bottom of your screen.
